Animals have been my heart's compass since before I could walk. Growing up in Mexico, I was that kid who never met a dog she didn't love, and I spent years helping rescue pups find their forever homes. Now, my own little rescue family – my dogs Oliver and Pakalolo, plus our one-eyed cat Picasso who joined us two years ago – are my daily reminder of why I do what I do.
